Online and Affiliate Marketing Service Company Opens in Castle Rock
CASTLE ROCK, Colo. (July 11, 2011) – The Castle Rock Economic Development Council announced today that e-commerce performance marketing agency, SmarterChaos.com, has opened for business in Castle Rock.
SmarterChaos.com builds and manages on-line advertising programs and partnerships for large e-commerce companies, making sure they are featured on the ideal on-line sites that will maximize their sales. SmarterChaos.com also tracks the activity of each client’s on-line shoppers on those sites from click to sale. Their current clients include Preferred Guest Resorts, Medicare.com, ValueMags.com, InsuranceAgents.com, JewelMint.com, and Zomm.com.
SmarterChaos.com was formed in February, 2010 by Castle Rock residents Matt Frary, Stu Butler, and Doug Davis.
“SmarterChaos.com is a perfect example of the type of company we want to bring to Castle Rock,” said EDC President & CEO Frank Gray. “Information technology companies are a priority for us as are ‘primary employers’ who bring new money into our economy by selling to customers outside the region.”
Frary pointed out that Castle Rock’s economic incentive package and relaxed atmosphere helped convince the three partners to establish their physical office in the Town. Castle Rock also met their requirement for “an urban, not suburban, community with access to larger markets and transportation,” said Frary. “We wanted a small agency storefront feel,” he explained, which they ultimately found at a first floor location near 4th and Perry Streets.
The support and assistance of the Castle Rock EDC was instrumental according to Frary. “Frank Gray literally walked around the downtown with us” to look at commercial property. “He also introduced us to potential partners and even helped us secure clients in the area.” In the end, there was never a question that the company would locate in the heart of Castle Rock, said Frary.
At this time, SmarterChaos.com has five full time employees in the Castle Rock office with an additional person located out of state. Frary said the company will stay “lean and mean” when it comes to staffing but sees the number of employees easily doubling in the next 18 months and he’s keeping his eye out for larger space in downtown Castle Rock.
